nbox repair tool or Scanpst.exe is provided with MS Outlook program utility that helps in fixing or repairing problems of PST file corruption. Outlook stores important email, calendars, notes, journals and many such important data. However if outlook users are unable to access or send emails, it may be due to PST file corruption. If ignored it can result in complete loss of Outlook data. Thus it is advised to fix this issue by running inbox repair tool or Scanpst.exe utility.
In order to run inbox repair tool, Outlook users may use the following steps:
1. Firstly, click on the start button and then select the Find or search button.
2. It is advised to type the Scanpst.exe in the search field and press Find button.
3. Once the Scanpst.exe or inbox repair tool appears as search result, proceed further by double clicking it.
4. After opening the inbox repair tool application, select and navigate to the the PST file to be scanned. One has to wait for some time till the scanning process is in progress.
5. It may take time if the PST file is large in size.
6. However, if you are unable to repair the corruption using this utility, try third party PST repair software to scan and repair such PST corruption.
