Are you getting scan PST error 80040806 in scan process of corrupted PST file ?

Yesterday evening I was just working on my outlook as part of my daily life. I notice that it was something slow. I think maybe there was a corrupted file in my profile. On this basis I start scans my stored PST file but as was shocked that scanPST.exe was not working. I got an error massage ‘Fatal Error: 80040806, dwErr=0’ and unable to fix my corrupted PST file. I’m completely helpless. Do you have any suggestion?

You should not be hopeless in this particular situation. Scan PST error 80040806 can be received by any outlook user. This may be due to different reasons and you should apply the solution on the basis of specific problem occurred in your outlook. You should check the file size and in case it is more than 2 GB use Oversized PST file crop utility to recover this situation. You should reinstall Microsoft outlook in case improper installation of outlook. If you again run Inbox repair tool utility of Microsoft you will be able to repair corrupted PST file.

If above situations are unable to fix Scan PST error 80040806, you should go for third party utility. Any PST file recovery software can resolve the problem in safe mode.
