Is your Scan PST.exe encountered an error in scan process of a PST file?


I don’t use my Outlook daily. But most of the time I have to interact with it. In last week while scanning a previous PST file in my outlook I received an error message from scan PST “A program error occurred. Quit Outlook and Microsoft Windows and then start again.” I restart my system and then entered in outlook but problem was as same as before. I am using MS outlook 2007. Is there any key to extract out from this situation? If yes then please respond me.

joannah 		Really you are facing a severe problem. It may be due to different reasons. If damaged outlook installation is behind this then you should reinstall this application. But renaming of outlib.dll file is must before proceeding. One possible reason behind this may be damaged outlook profile. You need to create new profile to resolve this situation. Invalid extension information is also a possible reason for it. In this case if outlook starts then uncheck the add-in and if it doesn’t starts then locate Extend.dat file and rename it. Sometimes you may receive this message on running multiple programs at same time. Then restarting the windows will simply solve the problem.

If still Scan PST.exe encountered an error in scan process then you should use scan PST software to resolve the problem. After using this you will have your outlook as before.
